GeneratorWeb has been developed over the past 5 years and remains a leading edge and unique web system. The concept started as a portal that allowed businesses to update their advertising and contact information on an interactive tourism map. The tools that were developed have evolved to allow construction of full-blown e-commerce web applications that allow everyday businesses to manage and update their own website content.
GeneratorWeb has grown over the past three years, with clients increasing throughout New Zealand. About Us
GeneratorWeb software has been developed by IBVT Networks Limited (Interactive Business Vision Technology). IBVT is a New Zealand Business founded by Michael Hodges in 2000. IBVT was originally set up to develop Tourism information Kiosks for airports where tourists would be able to get location information from an interactive map based display. While some initial Kiosks where built and installed the focus of IBVT went on to the development of a platform that would enable small to medium businesses to build and maintain their information on a Web based network. The development of the software took two years and was launched in December 2002 for a tourism client. Since then GeneratorWeb has continued on its development path to become a very comprehensive Web content management and development system with increasing popularity to a wide range of small to medium businesses. GeneratorWeb has been developed into a number of separate products that work together to deliver a range of web content.
In the Last 12 months the focus has been on making GeneratorWeb available for Web developers, who are increasingly finding Macromedia Flash a powerful web platform, but find it slow to develop and optimise. GeneratorWeb provides a fast way of building customised Flash Sites that are optimised for fast delivery. To date IBVT Networks has remained a small Business with the main trading taking place through Dzynz Limited, a separate Design business.
Now that the software has been developed to a high and scalable standard IBVT is embarking on a global growth strategy to make GeneratorWeb software available to developers for Free, with income being derived through SmartHosting services.
IBVT is now teamed up with Dunedin’s Business Incubator “Upstart” who are providing a strong base to develop the business by appointing additional Key personal and investment to enable GeneratorWeb to grow.

Michael Hodges
Michael is the founding Director who has largely designed and built the GeneratorWeb products from Macromedia’s Flash platform. Michael has a background in Design and illustration and in recent years has mastered software programming. This combination of skills provides very visual software making it uniquely different from standard software solutions. Michael has specialised in interactive web development for manufactures who wish to demonstrate their equipment to their clients.
John Ingram
Shareholder Director is also a founder director with a background in dairy farming and business networking. John has been a mentor and provided a business advisory role in the development of GeneratorWeb. John has continued involvement in a number of very successful Southland Businesses and continues to offer strong support in the development of GeneratorWeb.

The Otago Museum has just launched its SciCard project which involves collaboration between the Discovery World Staff, Otago Polytech Students, contracted designers and GeneratorWeb. GeneartorWeb was chosen to provide a platform that was suitable for the Museum staff to manage and update content, while being able to support a range of specific functions from interactive games, to online surveys and membership. GeneratorWeb was able to provide a faster delivery of content through optimised and steaming content together with improved navigation which has greatly enhanced user satisfaction. The Museum staff can now manage the site beyond the period of the contract without extensive training or assistance from the original developers.
