Payment Gateway GeneratorWeb provides a shopping cart facility through GeneratorCat that can process transactions through three methods.
There are three payment Options
Encrypted Creditcard Form
Details can be sent through GeneratorWebs own encryption system. These credit card details can be unencrypted only in the Business’s own GeneratorWeb Publisher. This option suits those who want to minimise online fees and don’t need to complete an online purchase. Businesses who are in the tourism industry who complete that transaction later but require the credit card information to hold a booking.
PalPal secure payment
Details can be sent to PayPal that provides a secure online transaction system. There is a small percentage fee, as well as your Visa percentage fee and you are required to have a credit card, but there are no other fees of setup costs. (Fees vary based on volume, see www.paypal.com for more information.) PayPal has a good transaction management system. This option is suitable for businesses who are happy to sell in a major currency such as US Dollar and who don’t want the cost of other Fees.
DPS Secure payment
Details can be sent to a DPS hosted transaction system. This allows businesses to transact in local currencies directly into your back account, however it also is the most expensive option as it also attracts ongoing monthly fees, Transaction Fees, merchant account Fees, Visa percentage fees and setup fees from both GeneratorWeb (NZ$120.00) and DPS (Fees vary based on volume, see www.dps.co.nz for more information.) DPS has a good transaction management system. This option is suitable if your business expects to conduct a lot of online transactions with sufficient margins to cover the fee.
